Clients differ in what they expect a RAMS to contain. The trick is to keep one controlled document and vary only the presentation and the required sections.
Start from the client’s checklist
Ask for the client’s RAMS acceptance criteria before you write. Map each required section to a block in your template.
Keep the content, change the layout
Hazards, controls and method steps stay the same across clients; headings, ordering and sign-off boxes change. Templates make that a two-minute job.
Record what was issued
Every customised copy should carry the version, the client and the date issued so an audit can trace it.
