When we say “Services,” we mean our Websites, Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), applications, our content, and various third-party services the we use to make up Evalu-8.

When we say “information,” we mean all of the different forms of data that you provide us and that we collect from you from your use of the Services, your software, and your devices.

  1. Information you provide to us: When you register for and use our software, you are providing us with information, which we collect. This information may include your name, billing and mailing address, email address, phone number, and credit card information. We use a third-party intermediary to manage credit card processing. This intermediary is not permitted to store, retain, or use your billing information for any purpose except for credit card processing on our behalf.

  3. This information may include IP Address, location information, date and time, browser type, and any other action you might have taken to use and while using the Services.
  4. Cookies: When you use our software, we store “cookies,” which are strings of code, on your computer. We use those cookies to collect information about you when you visit our Website, when you use the Services, your browser, your operating system, and other similar information. Most browsers allow you to block and delete cookies. However, if you block our cookies, our Services may not work properly.

We are ISO27001 certified and follow generally accepted industry standards to protect your information, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, however, is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

When you enter sensitive information (such as credit card number) on our order form, we encrypt the transmission of that information using secure encryption technology (SSL/TLS).


6. Correcting and Updating Information

If you are our customer and would like to access or delete information that you provided, you may do this by emailing us at support@evalu-8.com. We will respond to your request within 30 days. We may decline to process unreasonable requests or requests that are not otherwise required by local law.

We retain your information and data that we process on your behalf as long as your account is active, as needed to provide our Services, and as necessary to comply with our legal obligations and resolve disputes.

We reserve the right to modify this privacy statement at any time, so please review it frequently. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here and by email.

Your Data

Your data is THE most important thing for us. Let us tell you simply, what we do and how we do it
We keep your data safe.

All Evalu-8 accounts use SSL/TLS-encrypted connections by default. You never send or receive sensitive information in plain-text it is all encrypted. Because we host a large proportion of your data with Amazon (AWS) we can be confident that your data is kept in secure data centres. The same data centres that are used by government, banks etc. The system is GDPR compliant and data is kept in the United Kingdom.

For efficiency, speed, reliability & disaster recovery we also host some uploads on secure file storage hosted with Wasabi. Again, all data is held within the United Kingdom and fully GDPR compliant.

Your privacy is our main priority

Evalu-8 cares about protecting the privacy of the data entrusted to us by our customers. This is one of the core values of our business. We will not EVER give, sell or show your data to anyone without your explicit permission.

How we stay reliable & trustworthy

No service is ever perfect, no matter what they say. Evalu-8 achieves an average 99.9% up-time. This sounds good and is good, and nearly every other web service will offer the same level of up-time. However, just to be sure you know what this means and to be completely transparent, 99.9% in normal English means that the service will be down a total of and no more than 8 hours & 45 minutes a year.

Our Data Retention policy:

We take our role as custodian/guardian/gate keeper of your data extremely seriously. We have multiple backup systems in place to protect your data, please see below:

  • Backups occur every hour
  • Backups are replicated across multiple servers
  • Backups are tested every 2 weeks
  • Backups are retained for 2 weeks

Evalu-8 systems /services follow industry best practices in security.

  • Encrypted inter-server and inter-data center communication.
  • Firewalled and monitored servers.
  • Strict controlled access to servers or customer data.
  • Sensitive data encryption in the databases.
