About Evalu-8
We built the software we wished we’d had.
Evalu-8 started with a simple, stubborn frustration: the systems meant to help people at work kept getting in their way. So we made HR and health & safety software that’s clear, fair and genuinely helpful. And we built it here in the UK.
It started with “there has to be a better way.”
You might know the scene. An HR manager chasing the same absence form for the third time. A safety lead re-typing an incident report from paper into a spreadsheet. A manager who just wants to approve a holiday request, stuck behind four logins and a loading wheel. And at the end of the year, a renewal invoice for a system nobody really likes.
We’d lived that. We’d worked with software that was outdated, inflexible and overpriced tools that made people work for the system, instead of the other way round.
So we stopped complaining about it and started building. Our aim was never “more features”. It was software that people actually want to open: comprehensive enough to run the whole job, simple enough that nobody needs a manual, and priced so it’s within reach of every organisation, not just the biggest.
