Incorporate any relevant risk assessments that you have created and wish to form part of the RAMS document.
Select any legislation that applies from the predefined list that you can add to using the rams admin section.
Apply the relevant sequence of work by drilling down into the section and ticking the specific boxes required to include them in your finished RAMS document.
Tick the box next to any relevant approved codes and practice, from predefined the list.
Highlight the tools and equipment you will be using. The tools are all categorised, search the extensive list or add your own.
Select details of any special permits that will be required.
Click on the hazard icon to incorporate it into the document. You can upload your own icons and descriptions in the RAMS admins section.
Select any emergency and first aid procedures that are appropriate.
Add any welfare requirements that should be considered.
Add the PPE requirement to the RAMS document by clicking the relevant icons.
Create your own ad-hoc sections and add the to the document including your own text, images or documents.
Step one – Select who can be affected by the risk, the date of the risk assessment, a detailed description, expiry date, who you would like to be reminded of expiry and how long before expiry they should be reminded.
Step two – This is where you can associate hazards with the risk. A basic NEBOSH list of hazards comes with the system, you can edit these or delete them. Simply click on the hazard to associate it with the risk
Step three – A separate tab for each hazard is available for you to identify the worst case outcome and likelihood of an accident happening. Select the control measures you have in place, add additional control measures and then what the likelihood of the accident reduces to.
